Wedding Cake Flavors
Classic and delicious French-style butter cream icing is standard for all our wedding cakes. No artificial colors or flavors, simply whole eggs, cane sugar and sweet cream butter. Our butter cream is a natural ivory color, smooth and luscious.
We use a classic genoise cake as our standard cake that can be flavored as desired. All flavorings are natural, liqueur-based syrups - no artificial flavorings.

Cake Icing, Decoration & Pricing
We offer four wedding cake options; please take a moment to read the details below. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us to set up a personal appointment with the chef.
v Pastry Xpo Classic: $3.50 - $4.00 per serving
3 inch high cake tiers, butter cream finish, piped butter cream pearls around the tiers. Tiers are stacked directly on top of each other. If fresh flowers are desired please plan to have your florist provide them on site.
v Pastry Xpo Tall: $4.00 - $5.00 per serving
5 inch high tiers with either butter cream or a fondant finish as desired. Tiers can be stacked directly on top of each other or pillars can be used.
v Fondant Grand Finale: $5.00 per serving
Butter cream iced and then covered with a satin-smooth fondant in pure white or ivory. Add simple butter cream or royal icing piping to complete your Fondant Grand Finale.
v Expression: $6.00 per serving and up
You’ve found your perfect cake!! Only it’s on paper or online. We can make it a reality. Bring us your ideas, photos, and colors and we will work with you to create a beautiful masterpiece.
Finishing Touches
v Chocolate Roses: add $5.00 per rose to any selection above
A signature Pastry Xpo finish: delicate and realistic roses made from white chocolate. The natural ivory color of these roses is stunning as is or they can be air-brushed to match any color theme. The roses can be used as a cake topper or as a cascade of roses down the side of the cake for an elegant effect. Hand-made leaves in either ivory or green are included with each rose.
v Bridal Bouquet: Custom made gum-paste flowers, priced by the piece
Gum paste flowers of nearly any variety and color are available to match your own wedding flowers. Gum paste flowers are beautiful and while not intended to be eaten are made entirely of edible sugar.

Ordering & Delivery Details
v Please place your order a minimum of 3 months in advance; the more notice the better.
v A 50% deposit is required upon placing your order.
v The full balance of the order is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
v Cancellations are accepted up to 30 days in advance of the wedding date.
v If cancelled up to 30 days in advance of your wedding date your deposit will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee.
v No refunds are available after full balance has been paid; 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
v Base delivery charge is $30 within 10 miles of the Pastry Xpo address of 8190 Strawberry Lane, Falls Church, VA. 22042.
v Delivery to locations beyond 10 miles from the Pastry Xpo address or delivery requiring special accommodations will be quoted on an individual basis.
Frequently Asked Questions
v Do you offer sheet cakes?
Yes, we offer sheet cakes as a less expensive alternative to a large wedding cake. This is most useful when your guest list is greater than 200. A full sheet cake will serve 80 people and a half sheet cake will serve 40. The price will vary by the cake & mousse you choose starting at $175.00 for a full sheet cake or about $2.20 per person.
v Do you offer gluten free cakes?
At this time we do not offer a gluten free wedding cake.
v Do I have to refrigerate the cake?
Yes. Please keep the cake in the refrigerator/cooler as long as possible especially if the weather is warm. Do not set up the cake in direct sunlight. The cake should be taken out of the refrigerator/cooler no more than 5 hours prior to being cut.
