I've been a huge fan of checking out the DC cupcake scene and must admit that I have frequented two DC locations even though I live in VA. That's only because I had no idea the best cupcake place in the DMV was right here in NOVA. You were hiding on Strawberry Lane and thanks to Living Social I have now found you! Your German Chocolate Cupcake might just be the best cupcake I have ever tasted in my life! I thought it might be good but had no idea just how amazing it would be! I will no longer be driving to DC for my cupcakes because hands down yours are a millions time better than even the one on tv!

What a gem! I have particular taste. I've had alot of pastry :-) And I have to say Pastry Xpo is quite a find & worth the trip to Strawberry Lane! It's like walking into a European pastry cafe experience with rows and rows of delights. I had the Strawberry Shortcake..it was fresh, beautiful, and I tasted the quality ingredients. (There is a difference). I will definitely go back when I need a treat and I would be proud to bring any of these cakes to friends for special occasions or even for clients....
